Wicked Sushi & Grill

This place is honestly my most favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The food is freshly made and very tasty. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and attentive. It seems to be a family owned and operated spot. We’ve been here about 6-7 times i believe. Only thing is I wish they had a sweet potato roll!

I really wanted to love this place since it had a lot of good reviews but NOTHING was good. The Ginger salad dressing was runny & sweet. The salad had too much shreeded carrots and cabbage, and needed more lettuce (looks like coleslaw mix)-not worth $5 The Miso soup was not hot (lukewarm) with no flavor. The Broth was weak. More than half of the menu options are spicy. It was Cold inside & we didn’t have a definite server. Both girls kept waiting on us which kind of got annoying because both of them would ask over and over if you were ready to order and then both of them brought the check. The Double tiger sushi was roll kinda fishy tasting (crab meat) and the shrimp looked raw. True definition of a local gem, and it keeps getting better! This was my friend’s and my second visit and the food somehow topped our first. The chef is the heartbeat of this place. You can literally watch his passion live from behind the counter as he carries the restaurant on his back and shows how clearly he loves what he does. Fish is fresh, rice is spot-on, and the specials are creative (the torched rolls and the tower were standouts—beautiful and delicious). If I had one note, it’s that the floor staff can feel a little hands-off—refills/check-ins were slower than expected; but the chef’s dedication and the quality on the plate more than make up for it. Bottom line: outstanding food driven by a chef who cares deeply. We’ll be back again soon. Highly recommend.

Ordered 15 minutes prior to arrival. They didn't start making my rolls until I had paid. There were 3 tables when I walked in. I had to wait another 20 minutes. Quite annoying. Ordered two hand rolls. They were $10 a piece! Vanilla fish is quite good, but 3 rolls to go, two of them basic spicy tuna, was $37. Not worth it. I will question myself before I come again.

Great food! Great Service! I come here every week with my family. Great new Torch Tuna Appetizer.
