Customer Reviews
First time here. Husband and I thought the food was pretty good. I ordered chili and husband ordered combination. Very good. Company also thought it was good.
Looking for a diner that’s not divey? Wib’s is it. You can feel the years of experience in the shop as you walk in. Clean and bright, but has a great feel for the Everyman. Straight forward menu that keeps it simple. The waitress was super friendly. Food came out hot on the simple trays. I had the outside combination, fries, and coleslaw. The toasted bread with pork shoulder smothered in that pimento cheese? Delish! Hot crispy fries and sweet yet vinegary slaw. The price was great for a good straightforward meal. I would definitely come back. I would also bring a friend too!
First time here. It was great. I wasn't in the mood for BBQ so I had the Pimento Grilled Cheese sandwich with fries. First time trying Pimento cheese, Amazing. The staff was Awesome as well. If you love spicy BBQ, this is definitely the sauce for you. I had some for my fries. Too spicy for me. I'd come back again when in town
10 STARS! I stumbled upon this place while looking for a quick bite. The appearance from the road of being a small local burger joint didn't prepare me for the explosive experience awaiting inside. Indeed, it was small and local, creating a cozy and charming atmosphere with a staff that was ever so friendly and attentive. On the reverse side of the menu was a heartwarming story about the birth of the business. BBQ was their focus, and I ordered an outside combination sandwich with fries and OMG! How have i not heard about this? I won't mention my age, but trust that in all my years, I've tasted a lot of BBQ, and this was the best BBQ sandwich I have ever eaten! 👏
TL;DR It's a local favorite that's somewhat cheap. For the price, it's a decent meal, but even one of our party made the comment that in all the years he'd been there, this was the first time he could see the meat on his sandwich. Another commented that they opened in 1947 and just started on their second hog. Portions are small and the fries taste like fresh fries from a Burger King. Their soda had an odd taste in it. Almost milky. Not bad, but unexpected and probably a result of the water used. The pimento cheese is apparently home made and isn't bad at all, but nothing to rave about. I had a Spicy combination sandwich (a couple of thin pork slices and a mass of pimento cheese). It was not nearly spicy enough for my tastes. And I couldn't taste the pork past the cheese. I also split
