First off I want to say the young lady at the window was super nice. The loaded potato was good, but the bbq nachos was horrible. Had too many stale chips no queso and I could count the baked beans in the center of the nachos by the amount that was given. Had a sufficient amount of turkey, but you can't eat dry turkey on a dry stale cheap corn tortilla chip without getting choke. I was disappointed.
Possibly the worst “BBQ” place I have been to. The wings were completely water logged from being boiled I assume. Maybe after they cook stuff they put it in hot water to keep it warm as my wife said her bologna tasted water logged as well. The cornbread was cold and rubbery and when I asked for a fresh piece they told me that was fresh and they could give me another but it would be the same. Don’t waste your time eating here.
Best turkey leg I’ve ever had! Only giving it 4 stars because the pulled pork was very dry and the Mac and cheese tasted store bought. But the turkey leg was life, almost like pastrami. It fell off the bone. The wings were also phenomenal. I would only suggest a mild deep fry after the smoking
My favorite pickup to go bbq. I grew up in Murfreesboro and we had Pope Taylor's bbq. Whitts is the closest to my childhood memory I have found.
Today, for the 1st time ever, the pulled pork sandwich i ordered absolutely sucked. Been there very often and can't figure out this bad food today. UPDATE: went there two more times just to give it a fair shake. Still disappointed. Pulled pork was bland with very little smoke flavor on it! Now I'm done.Gave it another today, 5.20.25, still very dry pulled pork, no smoke flavor. Wasted $10 . Couldn't eat it. NOW, IM DONE. NO MORE CHANCES FROM ME. I TRIED.
