The Colt Tavern and Wood Fired Pizza

First time here & it was a 10/10!!!! We met the owner & amazing bartender & they were so friendly! It’s such a cozy vibe here, like your favorite neighborhood bar that just so happens to have the most delicious wood-fired pizza & signature cocktails, fantastic service and it’s only minutes away from your house. What more could you want?! Highly recommend! Go support them!

Really good new local place. Had the hot honey pepperoni and garlic sticks. Really good. Place is on the small side, so large groups might have to wait for tables. We were just two and immediately got a table.

Stopped in on a Sunday evening for some pizza. Now, as a person who dislikes most pizza, this was more than palatable - I actually thoroughly enjoyed it! As someone who's made countless doughs, I can say that id be hard pressed to make or find a better wood-fired pizza crust. Hand stretched, nice hydration levels- and properly proofed (judging by the final crust). We had the Supreme and the Pepperoni & Hot Honey. Both were great but the pepperoni was stunning in flavor. Very fresh cheese, and properly seasons, although I could have used a touch more sea salt on the supreme. Alexa was so kind and attentive. When we ordered, my husband ordered my water without ice which I prefer. We waited for our food, and then once we got it we dug in, not realizing we hadn't gotten our waters yet. Befo

It is dangerous to have such good pizza this close to home! The Springfield square smells like wood fired pizza now and it is amazing. Fresh and great pizza, fun atmosphere and an awesome bar. Love it!
