Whitmore Library

I love this place it's about a mile away from my house. And I walk there just for fun, sometimes, just to read. Some books I place orders all the time for different mangas. I'm reading, and it's one of my favorite places. It also is a great place to meet up with friends and it's such a lovely attitude. There's only a few places that I walked to in the city, and the library is one of them.

Big roomy library with vaulted ceilings. Ample amount of seating, study desks & computers. Have Wi-Fi, 3-D & laser printers. Nice Drive thru book return. Neat art displays & clean restrooms in the basement. Nice furniture & holiday decor. There’s a piano there that sounds nice but almost imperceptible if upstairs. Always have City weekly & Utah magazine here which is nice. 4 stars because walk to entrance is far. Closest parking requires walking up or down a steep hill. Do miss the librarian that always wore purple. She was one of the best & nicest librarians ever met.

Excellent Neighborhood library. Very clean inside with tranquil atmosphere. When I needed books from other libraries, it does an outstanding job of gathering for me. I also use their printing services a lot! It is convenient and economical. Kids corner has painting, games, and reading. Nonprofits I worked with also book their conference rooms.

This is a great library! They have a large selection of all the genres, the kids sections are especially great. They have many little hideey holes for kids to read books or quietly play. Computers for detailed searches are all over. They have a basement that can be used for small group meetings.

Very rude staff. Attended a recital here that admittedly went over time and the manner in which the staff handled the situation was very poor with threats that people would be banned from the library. The staff had the absolute lack of decorum and civility. I'm glad this this is my normal library.
