White's Beach Tavern

First visit for us at this tavern on a Friday fish day. I had the cod and my guest had the perch. We both enjoyed our dinners, thought they were really tasty. The prices were pretty decent and the service was great. Only issue we had is there was a funky sewer smell throughout the place. Other than that everything was fine. They had keno, pool table, shuffleboard, darts and some arcade game. They also had a nice lake view to enjoy but it was frozen over being this is January.

A friend told me about this place. I am so glad they did. We all ordered something different and the food was fantastic, the onion rings, fried mushrooms, cheese Kurt's, crab racoon, burgers, and steak sandwich are all to die for. On top of that they have a large selection of draft and bottled beer. The beer was fresh off the tap. They also have 3 pool tables, multiple tvs, and dart board for entertainment. They have a great view of the water. The service was friendly and they were always happy to serve you. They also have nights of live music. If your in the area this is a must try. I highly recommend

I found my Favorite Burger. The Joe Burger!! It's the Best Tasting Ever! The mushrooms and fries were Delicious also. Well worth the trip here. Stopped in around 4 on a Thursday so I was the only one here. Really friendly employees.

Absolutely yummy fish fry on Friday nights!! It's not an "all-you-can-eat," but they give you four huge pieces of fish, along with either fries or a big baked potato, and coleslaw. The combo plate of lake perch and whitefish is awesome. You won't leave hungry. They have a Friday menu, and they have a rest-of-the-week menu. On Fridays, they focus on fish and seafood and generous fried appetizers. (I have posted the menus.) Generous pours from the bartender, too. There is also some outside seating, mostly picnic tables, with a great view of Saginaw Bay. This is kind of off the beaten path, but it's worth the trip. Excellent service. We specifically came for Perch Diñer and they went out of their way to make it happen. Excellent meal. Recommend this restaurant for a great place to eat. Don't let the area keep you from visiting this restaurant as you'll miss an excellent meal.
