Wheeler Road deli

Delicious food. Everything inside is so clean and the service is great. Food items are extremely fresh and so yummy! Catering orders were easy too. Lots of options and establishment is very flexible with accommodations.

I shared this on a few Facebook Foodie groups, but wanted to post here on Google as well. I work in Hauppauge, off exit 56 on the LIE. I've been here almost 3 years and never stopped in Wheeler Rd Deli before. Today I ventured out to pick up lunch, not sure of what I wanted, but headed down Wheeler Rd towards 454 and this place caught my eye. I met the nicest owner who proceeded to tell me all about his wonderfully loyal staff, the deli's awesome rewards program, and the free delivery when I said it was my first time there. We chatted as I waited for my sandwich to be made, which was probably the fastest I've ever had a sandwich made. Walked in and didn't even look at the menu. Asked the good man there what his favorite sandwich is. He suggested the #8. Trust is key when it comes to making food, so I went with it. Absolutely delicious!!

Overall, a good place, the ham was a bit off. They should maybe clean up the outside a little bit as well. I would go back, but there are slightly better places in the area.

Extremely friendly staff. Asked what was the best sandwich and was recommended the number 8. Sandwich was delicious. You can really tell they appreciate your business!!! That means a ton…Kindness and good energy goes a long way. Will be back
