What's Cookin'

As one person dining alone..Definitely a appetizer, and a meal that you will eat fot 2 days. The plates are always extremely generous..and nachos. The nachos filled me up. But that chicken fried steak and potatoes and salad was better the next day in the air fryer. *js. Great service! Alot of older but very nice to see.

My cousin and I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. I loved everything about the place - the atmosphere, the food, the service and especially the price. We had an awesome server (Lillie) who was very attentive to our needs. My cousin had the Mexican plate and I had an awesome Reuben sandwich. There's a gift shop next door that you can access through the inside of the restaurant. I have family in the area and I would definitely eat here again.

I know where to eat lunch when I'm m in the area. Truly a hidden gem. Great food.

The food was delicious, from the Onion Stack, to the chicken-fried steak, to the baked sweet potato, it couldn’t have been better! Excellent experience, great space, great staff, and great food! Don’t miss this place on your way to the Ouachita River. After the railroad tracks, there is a great viewing area on the right! The train may cruise through suddenly and you’ll get a little thrill, we’ll out of harm’s way. Just slightly east of the boat ramp, the Ouachita River walk trail.

We stumbled on this neat restaurant and was very well pleased with our food but especially the service. We were starving and was in a very big hurry as we'd had an important signing moved up on us. The waitress was so sweet and the owner/manager brought our food quickly and apologized for it taking long. And actually was very fast. He was so great after we explained what happened with us and even said congratulations to us for our important signing. Very accommodating. Would love to return here and have time to eat and enjoy. By the way the food was fantastic and the price was very good also. 10 out of 10.
