I am so glad I stopped in while I was driving through! Don't let the outside fool you like it did me; I almost didn't stop, and that would have been a mistake. ​This is one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. It was honestly hard to choose from their unique menu, but I went with "the STHU." It was extremely juicy and topped with caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, and an amazing cherry Chipotle sauce. You can really tell they care about quality—all their meat is ground fresh daily, and the hand-cut fries were perfect: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. For about $13 for the burger, fries, and a drink, it was well worth the cost. ​The owner, who is a veteran, was super nice; he even showed me around and talked me through the menu. Well we finally made it over to give this place a try on a Saturday during lunch. This place gives a new meaning to eating a burger. These are custom burgers one of a kind! I had the Pollo (chicken) Beserkr burger with Gouda cheese and grilled onions. It was so so good! The chicken breast was so large I had to take half the burger home to eat later. Hubs had the Hongo Borracho beef burger with beer braised mushrooms, white cheddar cheese and garlicky mayo. He managed to eat it all along with an order of fresh cut potato fries which we shared. We will definitely come back to try out their other burgers and bbq meats they have and try to catch one of their specialty steak dinners they have I think monthly.

We went to Beards and Buns last night and were genuinely impressed. The food was excellent! They’ve found a truly delicious bun, and the hand-cut fries were crisp, golden perfection. It’s been over a year since our last visit, and to be honest, the first time we went we weren’t overly impressed. This time, though, it was a completely different experience. They’ve added a combo option that includes fries and a drink, which was a game changer in my opinion. The overall quality of the food was very good, and the presentation really stood out—served on nice wooden cutting-board-style trays, which was a great touch. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had anywhere in a long time. We’ll definitely be back.

We were in the area looking at Civil War battlegrounds and the remains of fortifications when we passed by this place. At first we were unsure if there was indoor seating but seeing it was getting a bit after noon we stopped to check. And yes, there was a indoor seating area. A young lady promptly met us at the door, seated us and took our drink order after handing us menus. It is a burger place with some house specialties. The names of some of the dishes were rather humorous: a cheeseburger was a "Bearded Lady." (Note: no bearded ladies in sight but the owner did sport a large full beard.) I ordered a cheeseburger and the wife ordered a burger with some sort of pineapple sauce. I don't recall the name though I finished it off for her. Lovely atmosphere, great owners. They love what they do. It isnt a job for them, its passion! The Big Dill burger 🍔 😋 👌 wasssss sooooo goooddd! Cant wait to try the brisket burger during the weekend!
