What-A-Burger

For years, people have told me that I need to go to whataburger because they have the best burgers in the area. I finally went and I have to say that this was the WORSE burger I’ve ever had. First, I had to wait for over 35 minutes for just a burger and shake. When I walked in, there were about 10 people standing in that tiny kitchen and only one person was actually doing anything. There were only 4 or 5 people waiting for food , so it wasn’t that busy. Second, the patty on this burger looked like it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours before it was put on the bun, but it was cooked to order so I’m not sure how they ruined it so bad. This place has been around as long as I can remember. Went tonight for first time in years and simple, straightforward menu and simple good food. Cheeseburger all the way and crinkle fry’s. Can’t pass them up!!

I have been eating at this place for at least 40 years. The wait time can be long because they cook the food as ordered. The only seating is picnic tables in the back of the parking lot. There is a covering above, but if the weather is unpleasant you will want to eat in your vehicle. Definitely, stop and give them a try. It's worth it.

Who doesn't love what a burger from VA to Texas this place is a ten of ten for burgers!! What a burgers are the best because they have a home made feel but yet they're not. I'm a person who loves burgers all the way with everything on it and to have a good slice of tomato and burgers that aren't dry, to me the way the burgers are made and the atmosphere gives it a homemade feel. All of that gave me my overall experience, an impression that went all the way to Texas, and that pretty much summarizes my whole experience. Although the tomato is what stands out the most to me, and the most memorable. I'd have to say that in my overall experience the folks who made the burgers, fries, took my order and cashed me out were polite, kind, and handed me food right away, which gave me my overall imp

I keep forgetting why the resteraunt is called What-A-Burger. When I do visit this establishment from a long hiatus I'm reminded once I bite into their burgers and then I say " Man! What a Burger!! The burger and fries were very good. I could not wait to get home to eat the meal so I carefully ate it while I was driving home. Yes I know, it's distracted driving but it was well worth it. Staff were very friendly and proffesional. Price was still reasonable and worth purchasing. Way to go staff and management much appreciated enjoying a good burger. Sorry, no photos to show because it was enjoyable devoured.
