Faraja Gardens & Grill

It's was awesome visiting this hotel together with my wife. We felt at home while eating big fish called Ngege or Mbuta at lake Victoria. We felt a sense of belonging and we promised to come back with my whole family.

Friendly service, excellent food and great vibes. Its located in a nice hidden spot. This hidden spot brings a wonderful charm to it with a beautiful setup and a cozy feel. We were able to try a variety of dishes. Some of my favorite dishes are the mbuzi mchuzi (goat stew) served with fries and cabbage. The meat was tender and rich with flavor from the kenyan spices. The samosa is really good with the spiced beef filling. I think the price is reasonable for the high quality food that they serve. Definitely recommend!!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The ambiance is perfect – a blend of cozy and elegant that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The food – simply spectacular. Each dish was a work of art, from the beautifully presented appetizers to the perfectly executed main courses. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and you could tell that only the freshest ingredients were used. I highly recommend the [mbuzi,ugali and skuma] – it’s a showstopper for sure!

Probably the best Ugali, Tilapia, collard greens and kachumbari I have ever had. Top notch service and the location is amazing.
