Wharf 38

Didn’t know where the Wharf 38 was located and thought is was the house in the beginning of the drive. By accident I drove further down the driveway and saw the sign by the wharf. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and portions were plentiful. No issues here whatsoever.

Went to Wharf 38 for the first time on a Friday, which happened to be Halloween, and had a great experience. Food, drinks & service were all superb. Unfortunately, this review is about our return visit two days later on Sunday night when we had a horrible experience. It started when we arrived by dinghy. We passed through the outdoor seating area where we saw many people eating huge platters of crab. We got to the hostess stand & asked about the crab and people sitting outside and she looked at us like we were crazy and said she didn’t think that they even served crab? So we were seated inside and asked our Server there about the crab and she said we could not order it because we would have to sit outside. By now, you know i love dining by the water. I went o Wharf 38. I was greeted and promptly seated. Ashley was amazing. Food was literally finger licking good. I ate EVERYTHING. The steamed shrimp and crab dip. The cadillac margarita was not on the menu but they made it. Thank you. All I needed was one. Gotta come try them out. Word of advice..drive slow when your close or you will miss the entrance.

Family-run seafood restaurant in Deale focused on fresh, seasonal, local dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Their menu is updated often, which offers diners surprises for their palates. Great views of the waterfront from their outdoor dining area. Excellent service. The tofu banh mi was excellent. The tofu was full of flavor and accompanied by a sweet, creamy sauce and fresh / pickled veggies. The bread had a light crust and a chewy inside. The local oysters were cold and fresh, complemented with a nice horseradish. The caprese came with their house-pulled chili mozzarella with fresh heirloom tomatoes. The chili added a subtle flavor to the mozzarella and the thin pulled mozzarella strips added a nice texture to each bite. The brussel sprouts were crisp, although a bit heavy on the salt

Wharf 38° is the all around perfect restaurant in Deale, MD. Whether you’re there to grab a quick bite, join happy hour with friends, soak up the views along Rockhold Creek from either the dining room or outside on the porch or deck, listen to live music, eat crabs, or stay awhile and do ALL of the above. The food (and drinks) are amazing and every dish is thoughtfully made and delivered by the kitchen staff. The owners, Melissa and Jay Seamour, their chef and entire staff take pride in your experience at the Wharf. They incorporate new changes to the menu options and atmosphere often to keep your experience an absolute 10 every single time you visit! If you’re looking for a great meal with a great atmosphere, Wharf 38° is the place to be!!!
