Deale Library - Anne Arundel County Public Library

My family and I love this library! The staff are the kindest and most helpful people you will ever come across. They are especially encouraging to my young readers. They are always willing and able to help order any books that we ask for. You will be hard pressed to find a better library and genuinely sweeter group of people.

Great library with many offerings to the community, however can be very noisy. Typically you expect a library to be quiet and reasonably loud, but there are often children screaming and running around especially if the back room is being used for an event.

Helpful, friendly and sweet librarians. My kids absolutely loved going to the Deale Library (pre-covid) mostly because of the attention the librarians would give them, taking the time to help them find books about their favorite hobbies and interests and by their favorite authors. They really helped to instill a love for reading in my children.

Deale has the nicest library staff I've ever dealt with in my entire life. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. For a small town library, awesome selection and ability to access most materials i need. Thank you!!

I wish the grass cutter guy would not mow the grass next to the tennis courts while people are playing. Its dangerous when stones and sticks fly on to the courts. I have seen this repeatedly. Its strange that he'll mow the spot by the court over and over, yet areas away from the court are over 6 inches high and untouched.
