Westbrook Public Works Department

Took over two weeks of leaving unanswered voicemails and emails with no avail for a new trash bin for curbside removal. Reached one person while calling and they said they couldn't help me. I was then redirected to the same voicemail black hole to wait another day since they said the person is out at 3 and I would have to wait on a callback tomorrow (it was 2 when I called).

I have always found out public works department to be very responsive and helpful. I think they do so much around Westbrook and have such a large, difficult task that some might not understand why they can't be everywhere at once. I think they do an exceptional job serving our city.

Spoke with woman at Public works about my trash bin being hit by car and destroyed 3 weeks ago. Still no replacement and no returned phoned call after leaving multiple voicemails.

I love the job our town does. But is there a reason the public plow trucks barrel through small neighborhoods at ridiculous speeds?
