West Cliff Dr tide pools

Such a beautiful place and view. I didnt get to see the tides but the view is magnificent and just watching the waves is calming

Our family enjoyed a slightly rustic walk thru the tidal Pools. We walked up and down the rocky area and crossed the areas where the waves hit quickly between waves. We saw seals and sea líons and big star fish with our path laden wit anemones We spent about 25 minutes walking out and back in again but you can spend less or more time. Free accessible street parking. Activity is not wheelchair accessible

Such a scenic walk along the cliff in Santa Cruz. Recommend coming here in the morning for a walk or enjoying sun on a bench. We spotted dolphins while walking.

Best place to see the sunset. You can bring up chairs here and sit. The place is so calm. They have parking off the street. People do surfing in the sea.

It's a must when visiting Santa Cruz! Even if you don't want to brave the cliff to get down to the tide pools... the view of the crashing ocean from the safety of the park bench surrounded by beachy iceplant is an experience in itself! It's truly out favorite spot to drive to (if your lucky enough to find parking)
