Great food, especially if you want classic americanized chinese food. The vegetables and meat tasted fresh, and they even threw in a complimentary small white rice to my order. I asked for well-done boneless spare ribs because I love the way the sauce caramelizes, and they delivered!
I moved from Worcester in 1995. I now live in Connecticut. I used to go this gem on Fridays back in the day. I returned to visit this restaurant in 2024 after 29 years and the food is fantastic. Chicken wings have that authentic flavor we love in traditional wings not that extra breaded with baking powder places uses now days. The Fried rice have decent size chunks unlike the minced meat most places are putting in their rice. They cooks are on time and you are not over paying for your meals here. All their options are delicious. You have got to try this place as it is a gem!
The foods pretty good if you get it during the right time of the year, it seems. Itll be really good for a while and then they start slacking and giving gross chicken wings and gross lomein and gross rice, so we stop going for like a year. The chicken fingers are always good. We went today after not going for a while and it was pretty good. They finally have the chicken wings we like again, when they glisten and are brown and nice size. When they slack they be having the tiny light brown chicken wings that be dry and dont have any flavor, but it was good today so we will be back, for now anyway, until they start slacking again. Their beef terriyaki is tiny, and red, compared to other places, but it was good and flavorful. I didnt get the shrimp fried rice or shrimp lomein like i normally w
A good place for Chinese take-out: They put the effort into the food, not the physical space. Dishes are well prepared and good portion size. The hot and sour soup is a good indicator — abundant traditional Chinese ingredients (tofu, vegetables, herbs, red pepper and fungi). I would not recommend this place for a sit-down meal; but high marks for take out/good value.
So glad I stumbled on this place. The food is fresh & the quantities are big. I got a pu pu platter for one, orange chicken & crab Rangoons. My usual go-to spot is Ming’s house but this takes the cake for me. Literally the best orange chicken and crab Rangoons I’ve had in worcester. I couldn’t wait to take pictures before eating but I promise there was much more that they gave me lol.
