Wellesley is lucky to have this gem of a building. The Fells Branch library was refreshed in 2018 and is Wellesley’s oldest public building, built in 1858 as a one-room school house.
Beautiful outside as well inside. It is small, but it is definitely worth a visit. The inside is well organized and children friendly! The story time is also very well organized and not crowded at all. It has a small parking lot at the back or you may park on street.
Such a cute spot ideal for kids 6 and under! Our ten month old had a blast, it was definitely worth the stop. Toys and books, as well as outdoor instruments and a small fountain. Keep in mind I believe they are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
What a wonderful place to take my little girl. The librarian is very sweet and does a great job running the baby program. The toys here are exceptional!
Never crowded and friendly, knowledgeable librarians. There's a pretty garden to sit outside on a nice day.
