I visit the Library often for various Community events and Everytime I’ve entered those rooms was a reminder of how important it is to have a dedicated space for reading, learning and sometimes escaping daily routines… This is important, At All ages! Thank you for maintaining a beautiful and peaceful space for our community !

A truly beautiful place, well designed, with cozy reading areas, wonderful children's area and a beautiful patio outside. Makes for a unique library experience. My 6 year old loves it here.

Large amount of space with both an upstairs/ downstairs. There’s plenty of seating and a majority of the seats have their own outlets which is great if you’re working or studying. The children’s area is downstairs which is so nice because it doesn’t interfere with the quiet study areas upstairs. There’s also lots of computers available to use and a printer.

As someone who mainly uses libraries to complete school work, I can confidently rate the Welles-Turner Memorial Library 5/5 stars. I've explored quite a few public libraries in CT in the past year and haven't found any that offer as many study spots as this one. Both of the times I've visited, I've had numerous options for places to sit with my computer plugged in. It is also very quiet and has a lot of natural light, two things I tend to look for when I really want to get some work done. There also appear to be other great amenities for children and teens. I believe they renovated very recently, building a huge addition and a MakerSpace. They have five study rooms available to reserve, although there's more than enough space across the library for quiet study as it is. I would recommend
