An absolutely exquisitely kept B&B in a gorgeous rural setting. Randy and Patty make one feel like family! We hope to return a few times a year!
In the area for a workshop my stay at Weeping Willow was delightful. With hotels full and overpriced due to oil/gas activity in NE PA, the Weeping Willow provided a peaceful night's sleep near the Susquehanna River. |Patty and Randy were friendly and gracious hosts, and the breakfast of fresh fruit and zucchini bread, along with stuffed French toast, bacon, and more fruit was beautifully presented and very tasty. The evening of my arrival a glass of wine and a sweet treat beckoned when I arrived from dinner at Twigs Cafe in 'downtown' Tunkhannock (recommnded!).||My queen room was sparkling, bright, and offered a comfy bed and ample lighting. Unusually warm weather made things a bit warm, but Patty cheerfully produced a fan. A small flat screen and spacious armoire, two armchairs, and a wel
I stayed this past weekend at the Weeping Willow Inn and was charmed by the beautiful country home, the inn's history, and the wonderful hosts - Pat and Randy. The breakfast was delicious- home baked pumpkin bread, a quiche, fresh fruit, toast and spreads. The rooms were comfortable and furnished beautifully for their setting. The price was very reasonable and the location was convenient to the lovely town of Tunkhannock. I would definitely stay there again and plan to do so.
We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast for one night in May. Patty is eager to share the history of the house, very friendly and chatty. Randy is obviously very busy with the upkeep of their home as the grounds are extensive and well groomed. The breakfast was a labour of love, homemade pumpkin loaf, a quiche of sorts with homemade pesto, fresh fruit salad, delicious. Lots of coffee, tea and juice, a fridge stocked with cold drinks and a tea table is available around the clock. The little town is close by, there are some very nice restaurants in all price ranges. We were made to feel so welcome.||||Highly recommend this gem!
We stayed at the Weeping Willow for one night (8/22). The house and rooms are great. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of room in the bedroom and bath. The owners, Patty & Randy are extremely friendly and nice. They make you feel like one of their relatives (in a good way) when you stay with them. The town itself is nice. We ate at a restaurant called Twigs. Highly recommend. Anyway, we have no doubt we will stay with them again. We can't wait!!
