Weathervane Seafood Restaurant

The Weathervane has been there forever, and it looks it! lol Decor is old and dirty looking. But our server was quick, friendly, and so kind. A large number of menu items have a “market price”, so it was weird to take up so much time asking what the prices were. We ended up ordering chowder (really good!), lobster roll (good but a bit expensive) and an order of fried lobster tails (never had seen fried lobster on a menu anywhere). Lobster was really good. Drinks were ok but not great. The tab seemed high for what we got. Will probably try another restaurant when back in Kittery.

Ate in the bar at a table this week. It was not busy. Had to wave our beer glass in the air to get her attention to get another beer. Once we got our food we never saw our server again. Onion rings were cold when food was delivered to the table. Chicken strips very over cooked and dry. Portions were large but if they are not cooked properly what's the point.

I wasn’t able to get pictures of everything but it was all delicious and the drinks were oh so good. The prices are pretty steep for the food but it was delicious so I’d say worth it for a date night or a treat. Our waitress was absolutely great!

Hey, what a great place, we had the seafood combo for the kids, which they loved. We also had the lazy man lobster, after our visit to Maine I was tired of picking lobsters, so they had all the meat in a dish covered with butter. Truly amazing. A great spot, Our server walter was awesome as well as his assistant, definitely will return.

Funky wooden fish hangings and signs for a great seafood ambiance. Hostess very pleasant and the waiter was terrific. Side salads garden/Caesar were very good. My wife had the grilled chicken, and I had the grilled swordfish, and both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Minimal wait time for the food and they can pour a correct Guinness. Plus, it was all at a reasonable price, a rare catch these days.
