Weather Vane Ice Creme

Stumbled across this place just browsing and landed what I feel is perhaps the world's best ice cream cone! Ice cream was solid, melts slow and eats perfectly, and was absolutely covered and overflowing with pecans covered in chocolate! Best cone ever!

Terrible prices tiny portions and honestly I feel like I would have gotten a better value just by going to QuikTrip, they have hot food same portion sizes for a lot of the sandwiches lower prices, and why is my Philly the size of a hot dog I paid $9 for it I wanted something like three times bigger than this. Next time I'm just going to walk past there and just keep walking to QuikTrip at least then I'll be earning the calorie deficit for what I'm consuming and getting a reasonable amount for what I'm paying

Nobody waiting ordered pull forward waited 27 min. Watched 7 cars go through line. Deep fried tacos meat was cold. Heated up sandwiches after cold tacos. Only live less than 5 min from weather vane. 😣😣

Best ice cream ever. Going back after years away (I live out of state) The flavor is the same. My mom and dad met each other at the original location in 1960.

Great food, ice cream Sunday's, concretes, and slushy!!! The service was also above and beyond great! I got a oreo concrete for my younger brother, it was so thick and full of cookie pieces that it almost snapped his spoon. The Hawaiian sunday my sister-in-law loved and I got a tigers blood slushy and it was absolutely 💯 on point! They have a drive thru or walk up window. I went through the drive thru, and got everything fast and cold! If you're in Granite City this is a must go spot!!! Open all year I do believe.
