An exceptional BBQ spot with a genuinely welcoming, family-style atmosphere and attentive service. The quality of the food is outstanding! It is easily the best barbecue I’ve had, and I’ve had plenty. The rib tips and pork steak were both excellent, and if you’ve never tried pork steak, this is the place to do it. The mashed potatoes are some of the best I’ve ever had, and every side delivers: flavorful green beans, standout baked beans, and excellent mac and cheese, potato salad, and pasta. The pricing is fair and the value is unmatched for the quality and portions. This restaurant is truly top tier and well worth going out of your way for.

Wonderful BBQ. Their cheddar brats are amazing, their pork steaks are awesome, the banana pudding and or peach cobbler are tremendously delicious! And their prices are great... another little gem of Granite City! Keep up the good work y'all

Great food its incredibly tender ribs fall off the bone the wait was super quick as well they have high chairs for your little ones too the only thing I found is it was too quiet a few things to note before going in they dont have a soda fountain yet and after you purchase a can of soda your allowed to grab it yourself I felt silly not knowing this so figured id give a heads up and the to go boxes are on the counter too its nice to have a resturant trust people instead of hold their hand for a change at least to me

A friend brought some take out for me after carrying on about how great it is. Pork steaks. It was the best BBQ I have ever had in my life. The aroma of it in the car was enough to make me jump for joy. It The way it falls right off the bone is awesome. The sauce is extremely delicious.The two sides with it were super yummy. I highly recommend JJ's!

I have been looking for some good Bar B-Q since moving to Granite City, and this does not deserve 5 stars; 20 stars still is not enough. Nice music relaxing atmosphere. Customer service 🔥🔥 You have to visit them. I had a rib plate, and I will be eating this for a couple of days. That's just how much food I had. Mac-n-cheese Delicious. Meat falls of the bone.
