Great place, great atmosphere and good food. Some of the food portions are a little skimpy. The octopus appetizer had very little octopus in it but it was very delicious. The halibut special was very bland and lacked flavor. It was a decent size piece of fish with virtually no flavor and a couple of beans on the plate. Definitely won't order that again. Drinks seem to lack some alcohol and for the price I would have expected them to be larger as well. Our server also seemed to be very focused on certain tables. We waited at least 10-15 minutes before our drink orders were taken and we were finished with our drinks before our food order was taken. We were never asked how everything was. A wonderful dinner by the water at Waypoint Restaurant. After cocktails, we started with tuna crudo, a roast artichoke salad, and a grilled octopus salad, followed by the catch of the day, striped bass. For dessert, almond tiramisu and a pistachio cake. Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was outstanding.

The Good: Incredible views. Fantastic cocktails. Solid seafood options. The Bad: Tremendously slow, inattentive service. The Summary: The outdoor patio and bar are right on the water. You can dock your boat, step ashore, and have a cold drink in hand in mere minutes.

What a wonderful down to earth waterfront dining experience. The halibut special and drinks were a perfect combo. Add the late afternoon sun lit soft colored vista and… Too bad the musician was a no show. Several more visits, musicians showed. All good. Had the seafood pot and fish and chips. Yes, pricey, but worth it!

Love the atmosphere and location. I was disappointed with the service and food. Everything is pricey for food that is not excellent. We don’t mind paying more because of the beautiful location but the service was also lacking. Our server never introduced herself and everything we needed was never offered; water, another cocktail etc. The octopus appetizer was good but it shouldn’t be called an octopus appetizer when there was hardly any octopus in it. Also, the halibut special was not that special. There was no flavor or anything to add to the dish. It was literally a piece of halibut on the plate. Probably won’t be returning.
