Waypoint House Bed and Breakfast

The Waypoint House is lovely. Rachael and Jonathan were great hosts, personable and attentive. The breakfasts made by Rachael were delicious! We were in town for the 75th anniversary celebration of a local monastery, Holy Cross Abbey, which is only 10 minutes away. We also enjoyed exploring Main Street in Berryville, which is in walking distance from the B & B. There is a beautiful church, St. Bridget of Ireland, further down on Main Street. The scenic Blue Ridge Mountains are nearby too. Waypoint House is a great place to stay if you're heading to this area!

Rachael was a great host, very helpful and accommodating! She even let us see her cats and they were adorable. We stayed in the shore room and it was very cute and clean. Would 100% recommend!

My wife and I recently stayed at the Waypoint House B&B on a recent visit to Shenandoah National Park. We rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled to comment on our exceptional experience staying there. The location was perfect for our drive to Skyline Drive the next day, close enough that we could get an early start. Waypoint House was beautiful, a great mix of a restored older house with very modern amenities. Rachel was a wonderful hostess, with regular communication before we arrived (complete with pictures and videos!) so we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived. We were greeted by a chalkboard welcome sign with our names on the front porch, our keys and an information packet just inside the entrance, and delicious fresh brownies waiting for us in our room. Rachael and Jonathan, the Waypoint House owners and operators, have created a great place to stay. The house has old charm while the bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, comfortable, and up-to-date. Breakfasts are scrumptious and you'll have a reasonable choice of eating time. The sitting and dining rooms are charming and comfortable. Parking is on-site and easy. Pricing is competitive with any decent hotel/motel. I am a returning guest.

Our stay at Waypoint House was a treat! It is a beautifully updated historic house with great attention to detail. It’s on a quiet street within walking distance to Main Street and the Barns of Rose Hill. Rachael was very welcoming and treated us to delicious welcome cookies and a breakfast that accommodated our vegetarian and vegan diets. I highly recommend!
