Waypoint Café in Camarillo is a hidden gem that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Located near the Camarillo Outlets and just a short drive from the beaches, this café offers a unique dining experience with unbeatable views of the airport. While enjoying your meal, you can watch airplanes take off and land, as well as see helicopters passing by, which makes for a truly entertaining and relaxing atmosphere. Location was nice as you could see the planes landing and departing. No full bar but they serve mimosas, beer & micheladas. Most lunch options were $15 - $20. Good portions and fast service. Parking is free and plenty of seating options. Large outdoor patio with lights and heaters.

Waypoint Café is an absolute gem. Great food, generous portions, and consistently delicious. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful, and the menu has plenty of solid breakfast and lunch options. The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart, watching planes take off and land while you eat is such a cool experience. It’s casual, lively, and perfect for families, aviation fans, or anyone looking for a unique dining spot. Service was friendly and efficient, even when it was busy. Well worth the wait and definitely a must-visit if you’re in the Camarillo area. Highly recommend!

Everyone was helpful and my only complaint would be why we’re ordering at the hostess desk and not from our table once we’re seated? It definitely takes away from the experience. The food was amazing and delicious but I would have preferred full service. I would definitely come again. The inside and outside of the restaurant are beautiful. Highly recommend eating here!

The restaurant is very nice and we loved watching the planes. The staff are attentive and friendly. They only have one vegan option, so that was extremely disappointing. We would definitely come more often if we had more choices. Bummer It is wheelchair accessible and has free parking. Be prepared to wait during busier times and you also have to pay upfront for your food before being seated.
