Wayland Pizza House

We first got to know this place because they provide pizzas for my son’s preschool in Wayland, and he absolutely loves them. Even on weekends, he insists that we order pizza only from here. Our most recent experience was yesterday when I placed an online order for delivery—my first time ordering this way instead of in person. I added a note asking for the pizzas to be “well done, but not overcooked,” and they arrived in Natick warm and cooked exactly as requested. The delivery driver was also very nice. We ordered a steak pizza, a chicken fajita pizza, and a couple of small cheese pizzas for the kids (including one free)—all of which were delicious. We found the Wayland Pizza House in between basketball games at the Sudbury Fieldhouse. If you like classic "house of pizza" subs, salads and pizza, drive past the Papa Ginos and hit up the Wayland Pizza House. The pizza was cheesy with a light and crispy crust. The Buffalo Chicken Salad was crisp, fresh and had a great balance of spicy buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing. Their pricing is not what it was in 1972, but is considered a great deal by today's standards!

I have been coming to Wayland Pizza House for over 10 years at this point. I used to come here at least twice a week when I lived alone. Enough to where the owners knew my car and knew my regular order. I usually get the grilled chicken sub with green peppers, cheese and mayo. When it is at it's peak, this is the BEST grilled chicken sub I have ever eaten. Sometimes, when I'm feeling adventurous, I also like to get their steak tips sub which is also really good. Understandably, you will get more protein in the chicken versus the steak. They also have a delicious mixed plate where you get both as well as salad and fries. I loved the previous owner and the new owners are just as great. They've renovated the seating area and it's extremely comfortable even though it's not especially large

This is the only place my daughter will eat pizza from!!! Our absolute favorite! It’s a weekly or biweekly splurge in our house. Love it :)
