Wayland Free Public Library

Such a great gem in the area! Tons of spaces with room to read, focus, and even collaborate around the building. The building itself is gorgeous with wonderful details that make it feel like a great place to think or read deep thoughts :) They have 3D print services which are insanely easy to use and fast to do. Plus the team is so helpful and supportive. They even have a huge children’s room complete with books and activities for all ages. I haven’t been to any of the programs yet but they have an impressive amount of ongoing activists for adults every week. Awesome hours (open until 9pm some nights if you can’t make it during the day) and ample parking right near the rail trail.

Wayland is a really beautiful library. They have this cool 2nd level balcony, which leads to the teen area on one side and books and working areas on the other side. It's a very comfy place to read a book!

Always a joy to explore the children's section. The amazing array of books on display really help bring awareness to groups of people that can easily become or are marginalized. It's a wonderful place for my daughter and I to explore with ease and comfort, and has hosted many community events for our family to attend throughout the years!

The five stars are for the awesome staff in all the departments - very patient, friendly, and helpful. Great historic building but not enough spaces for studying, meetings, and community events. The parking lot is a bit tight. Appreciate how the staff accommodates for the 21st century with a 19th century facility.

Knowledgeable and friendly librarians. Very useful recommendations. Beautiful place, excellent vibe, always look forward to coming back.
