Wayback Burgers

Wayback offers old fashioned friendly service and delicious burgers with authentic flavor. When I am in the area from Doylestown, I make a bee line right over for the light and crispy onion rings along with a hefty burger. They have discount offers too. One nice touch is the fundraisers they hold for local schools. Worth your support. And the food hits the spot!

This was my first time ever trying Wayback Burgers. Gave It a chance because I was constantly seeing Facebook Ads and the restaurant is only 20min away. If you're looking for a honestly very splendid, fresh, fast, great tasting burger you should also give them a shot. The Chicken BLT I had tasted incredibly fresh and better then most placed I've tried. A young man named José was our waiter and he was awesome, very quick, thoughtful and professional. Even gave us extra Brownies for our Brownie Milkshakes. I honestly believe if they did more marketing they could have a bigger restaurant in Philly. I wish I could write a good review but only the onion rings were edible. The fries and chilli dog were not good. Hot dog so over cooked couldn’t really bite into it . Chill tastes burnt and old . For the price of food not worth it couldn’t eat anything with chill. I don’t mind paying high prices but not when the food is this bad. Maybe it’s just an off day but I won’t recommend .

Yeah uh - a big NOPE! Went there for the first time to try it, as it's pushed on FB, online ads said "Eat for $8" and "$10 box deals" for cheeseburgers and bacon cheeseburgers, includes a cheeseburger and fries for $8 or $10. Well I asked if that deal included the bourbon bacon cheeseburger and TWO guys behind the counter said "yes", so that's what I ordered. My wife paid. When I looked at her receipt, it was $9 for my bacon cheeseburger, plus $7 for an order of fries!!!!!!! Hers was $8 for her cheeseburger, and $7 for fries!!!! Plus two drinks, the total came up near $35 for two cheeseburger meals. SERIOUSLY?? Well all that was just a learning experience, I guess - everything was very greasey, but not as oversalted as Freddie's. So okay, never again, right? BUT THEN... Less than an hour l

Atmosphere and staff were wonderful. The food however was subpar at best. Their featured items "spicy" cheese curds were sweet. Their bourbon burger had 2 of the smallest onion rings I've ever seen and the sauce was overpowering to the point of totally obliterating my palette. The bacon cheese friends would have been very good except half of the bacon was burnt and black. Fried pickles had a weird sweetness to them as well which simply weren't to my taste. The one highlight of the meal was the milkshakes. Both the vanilla and the strawberry shortcake were quite good. My husband did enjoy the ghost pepper burger, had good spice and flavor.
