Wauconda Public Works

Some heroes wear capes, some wear spandex, while others wear Wauconda Public Works uniforms. I have lived in many cold and snowy places and none of them can hold a candle to how the Wauconda team deals with snowfall. At the sight of a single snowflake shimmering in the sky, plows take to the roads like like a Mad Max movie. They swarm as if part of a Navy Seal operation, getting even to dead end streets before the snow even has a chance to reconsider where it has landed. I hear the sound of snowplows outside before I even notice that it’s snowing. Salt covers the ground before water has even the faintest desire to become ice. 2 inches of snow? Gone. 2 feet of snow? See ya. There isn't a snowstorm that hasn't bowed before the supremacy of the Wauconda Public Works team and I don't imagine

I had a note left on my door that my water meter was unable to be read, and a request to schedule an appointment to investigate. I called and left a message after hours and Peter called me back the next morning to schedule an appointment the following day. Peter showed up right on time, checked the issue, and resolved it within 15 minutes. He was really knowledgeable, gave me some handy tips in determining leaks, and was just an all around stand up guy. Probably one of the best experiences I've ever had with any household related issue. Glad Wauconda public works has employees who care!

At first I thought this place was going to be how all places are becoming. But when I had an issue Donna was very quick to offer a solution. Don't be quick to assume just because it seems the majority is a certain way. If you live in Wauconda and use the Public Works Dept rest assure your in good hands!
