The gentleman working the front is very sweet, funny, and very helpful! The atmosphere is quiet and calm, easy to navigate and clean. I also appreciate the hours of operation, makes it easy to stop in after work. Overall I highly recommend to stop by! :)

I usually find the staff to be friendly, but I had an encounter with a woman who seemed to believe I was totally uneducated. I hate when someone is patronizing toward me. An okay library, but I have been to much better. In all honesty the library in Waterbury is a huge step up. I attempted to communicate with Watertown about doing a citizenship program for local folks, but they never even had the courtesy to respond to my proposal and request. A real shame. Imagination needed for this library to thrive more.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would . The staff is super rude and the lady that works upstairs is beyond rude and very unwelcoming . She makes you feel very uncomfortable . I noticed some of the autistic people get treated like they don’t belong there which is so not okay . This place needs new staff immediately . Any other library is very welcoming and understanding .

Staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually reserve my books online and when we go to pick up, they recognize us by face. Always feel welcomed.

Helpful, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Great selection of books and magazines, programs for children, book groups for adults, computers for public use, and high-speed wifi. Open 6 days a week. There is also an active Friends of The Library group you can join. The Friends run a used bookstore where mint condition books can inexpensively be purchased and sponsor programs. Open six days a week.
