Watermark Fallsview Dining

We had a great experience at the watermark being Served by Nicholas M. Our meals arrived in great timing and it was hott. We did not feel like we were ever waiting or looking for our server. His timing was great. The food was really good, we enjoyed it and even chose options on the menu that did cost extra. In the photos on this review you will see the view from our table as well as a veiw of the restaurant. Also our orders of Mussels, shrimp, 10oz. New York strip loin. And an 8oz steak option. I will note *** it can be quite pricey! But we really enjoyed it. ( 260.00 + 70.00 (voucher we had ) More than we would be willing to pay on a regular basis. Four stars because of the high cost.

Not all that impressed. I saw the reviews and thought this is it. We went to dinner on Valentines 💝 that was my First mistake. Whilst the view was lovely, the server brought the usual dish of bread and buttter balls to wet the appetite, except, that i got bread, that was the temperature of the butter. Dinner was mediocre, scallops were bland, only made it to 2 with a push. I gave up on forcing to eat all 3, no wow value, looked pretty though. Drinks, the same, dessert 🍨, same. Maybe, it was not the night to try a new restaurant because it was quantity over quality. Server was as attentive as possible for that particular night.

We got the date night package which included a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine. I gotta give a shoutout to our waiter Nicholas who was an absolute gem. Our food was absolutely incredible! From the starters to the desert. The best 3 course meal you will honestly ever have that keeps you full till the end of the night lol. And of course you can’t beat the view which is amazing.

Fabulous, have never had a bad experience here. We go to Niagara at least 2x a year and Watermark is always on the list! Over the last 10 years, always great experience and attentive wait staff. They retain their staff and we recognize or have been recognized by several friendly faces there on occasion. Breakfast there is reasonable for food, value and views. Fabulous views of the falls and lights on the falls at night. If you go in the evening, reserve for the time of the fireworks for an added treat.They always have live entertainment at night, either piano or violin. Christmas is extra special there. Highly recommend!

What can I say for the date night special?? The food was absolutely as spectacular as was the view. Our server Brad was so personable- thanks for sharing the ABCs of wine. Very friendly service which seems rare these days. Now onto the food! The focaccia was a perfect pillowy start! Focaaaaahhhhhccia!!This bread was squishy heaven! The beet salad was also an amazing starter. Hubby had the salmon and beet starter with horseradish and pumpernickle. Wow! Our second course was the pork medallion and the seared chicken options- both were fantastic!! Very flavorful and elegantly plated. We had to have a breather before the dessertas our eyes were bigger than our full bellies!! The strawberry mille- fuiell was of course delish. Hubby had the creme brulee...his only complaint was it was too small
