Beautiful architecture. Lovely stain glass windows. Theater on the 2 ND floor where they show movies for kids and have a tween/teen hangout Wednesdays after school with lots of fun activities like making chocolate, karaoke and cinnamon roll eating competitions.

What a treasure for those that live in the community: great collection of yesteryear’s memories;

I love this library, I've been going here since I was a little kid in the 90s. Many improvements have been made, there are boardgames, movies, and a kid's room with a television. Computers are still accessible and there are tables and small booths you can sit in if you want to quietly read a book. I just went in to get something printed out and it was so easy. The 2 women working there were very nice and helpful. Everything there is wonderfully organized.

Enjoy going there enjoy the quiet atmosphere. They have great books. My boyfriend and I get DVD'S on Fridays and Saturdays they have a great selection. They give you a week to watch and enjoy them no rush. They even e- mail you for a kindly return reminder.

One of the oldest libraries still operating in it's original building, construction started in 1880. It's the first library in NY built specifically as a library. Pretty large collection of books and DVDs for the size of Waterloo. It is a member of the Finger Lakes Library System, which lets you request a book from any member library. Today (5/3/23) was the reopening of the Fatzinger Hall. New heating and cooling system, new seating, 14 foot movie screen, lighting and sound systems. They have a large expansion plan if anybody has a lot of cash they don't need.
