First time here. Ordered pork/sharp provolone meat was thinly sliced and very tasty. Was able to taste the garlic and the melted sharp provolone added to the taste. Another order prime rib extreme. Again nicely sliced meat and the fixings added to the overall flavor. Final order, Italian. Decent amount of Italian meats and provolone cheese and condiments. Rolls were fresh and soft. This is cash only and recommend take out only. Staff was really friendly. Will return when the mood strikes for a sandwich.
Got the prime rib and meatball. Prices were very reasonable. Prime rib was good, recommend getting extra meat. The juices flavored the roll, made for a really delicious bite. Scratches the itch for "roast beef" almost perfectly. The meatball was surprising good. I usually go to Wawa for a meatball sub, this blows Wawa out of the water. Both the meatballs and the sauce are homemade and you can tell. You can taste the freshness and seasoning. The tomato sauce is wayy better than the bland generic grocery store crap other places use, its packed with flavor.
This is "leave a review while you're eating" kind of sandwich. Perfect amount of broccoli rabe, cooked perfectly so it's not too tough, chewy, or stringy. Pork is great, perfect amount of gravy/cooking liquid to make the roll moist and flavorful but not soggy and messy.
I was really excited to try this place after hearing great things from friends and the community. I was not only disappointed, I’m disgusted. I ordered two ham and cheese hoagies and a hot roast beef with sharp provolone and hot peppers. The ham and cheese hoagies had two slices of ham- it was more like an oil and onion hoagie that was falling apart. The roast beef didn’t have the hot peppers on it like I ordered so when I called, he just told me he was very sorry and didn’t try to make it right. I ate almost half of the ham and cheese hoagie when I bit into something hard which was a piece of wood. I’m assuming the wood came from a cutting board but I still find this completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, this will be my first and last time trying Waskos.
Got an italian classic and zep, both tasty and very affordable (like idk how he stays open level cheap) Fresh bread, and meats and cheese were good too
