Washington Diner

This place is great. My husband and son eat here at least weekly. We recently went as a family last minute on Valentine’s Day. The meal exceeded our expectations as they had a special menu for Valentine’s Day. My daughter ordered the prime rib and it was delicious. A generous serving with Soup, salad, a potato, vegetable and dessert. The diner is consistently excellent, but the decorations and menu put it a step above typical diner fair. BIll and his servers are always friendly.

Love the place from decades of coming.. but has really taken a nose dive recently. Sat in the right big room and literally experienced?95F+ EXTREME heat, to the point of being light headed, person nearby told Mgr.. but went back on full 🥵. They need a 2nd thermostat and zone in that 2nd room. Also the green pea soup 🍲 was aweful, NO ham & few green 🫛 peas used, tasted like quick made with a can and lots of flour added to thicken cheaply, then a pound of old stale croutons to mask how aweful, flavorless. Guessing both to cut costs and increase profits.

Fantastic neighborhood diner. Been going here from 10+ years. Always been consistently good food and service. Servers are friendly, quick and take care of refilling coffee/drinks. Front desk person is the owners always friendly and kind. Food is served very fast and quick even on weekends when they are busy. There might be a small wait on busy holidays or weekends. Lunch, breakfast and brunch are always better compared here to other diners in the area. Food quantity here are big, we always have some leftovers going home.

I called and ordered a BLT last night so with Gina. I asked that the bacon be soft not raw. This is the 3 rd time I’m disappointed in a short time. I didn’t leave a review the other two times. I hope the diner does better

We were going to see a high school show and let our server know when we sat down. We had our food so fast, it was fantastic! Delicious food, great server, super clean. Would highly recommend!
