Allie's Cupcakery & Café

I’ve been going here since they opened, for lunch only, years ago. Every meal is always perfection. I love their weekly specials and all the different cupcakes they do for holidays and events. They put some voodoo on their shrimp, and they are the best shrimp that I’ve ever had. Recently, and amazingly, they started serving dinners two nights a week. I went last night for the first time, and everything was absolutely incredible, as I knew it would be! This is such a gem in the heart of Washington! I highly recommend stopping in. You won’t be sorry!

The best place!! Have been going here for years and I always bring new people here and they love it!! My favorite has always been their rice balls, but everything on the menu is always great!! Their baked goods are soooo good every time and I always get them when I stop in, definitely recommend!!

This is such a hidden gem in Washington, NJ. The cutest decor and fresh, delicious food. We had salad, sandwich, fries and of course, dessert. My mom said it was the best lemon cheesecake she’s ever had and my peanut butter silk was unreal. We split a cranberry Brie chicken sandwich and fries (omg the fries?!) and a seasonal salad. The food is seriously some of the best I’ve had - all freshly prepared by the owners. It’s a beautiful memorial to its namesake, Allie, and other children who left us too soon.

I have had Allie’s cupcakes before which are delicious (love salted caramel!)! This was my first time going for lunch! It was a great experience! The food did take awhile to come out and I was very crunched for time which was the only downside. The staff was super friendly! I ordered the pesto sandwich and it was delicious! Super juicy and moist - not dried out. Very well prepared! The pasta salad was also delicious! I just picked the olives out cause I’m not a fan. For dessert I ordered the salted caramel gelato. I was hoping the pretzels would be super crunchy in the gelato but they were a bit on the soft side. Overall delicious treat that I’d order again. Thank you for a delicious lunch! Not to mention the atmosphere is absolutely adorable! Very well decorated, warm, and welcoming!

Quick and friendly service. Owner overheard me tell another customer I was eyeing the lemon cheesecake and put it aside for me. Cheesecake was delicious with a perfect amount of lemon. Shrimp tacos were flavorful and loaded with shrimp.
