Wanna Empanada

Amazing empanada! I had a cheese empanada at one of their food trucks during a street fair in Sleepy Hollow and it was one of the best empanadas ever! 😋🤤 Highly recommend this place to others! 😁

"Wanna Empanada" was an amazing find! We spotted their food truck at the Greenburgh Nature Center and decided to give it a try. The chicken and beef empanadas were absolutely delicious! We weren’t used to empanadas being this stuffed with meat, but it was so filling and flavorful. The taste was unlike anything we’ve had before—truly exquisite. Honestly, we haven’t found empanadas this good even in the city! Plus, the staff was super friendly, which made the experience even better. We’re so excited they’re right here in the neighborhood!

So good with unique flavors that change daily (they told us to check their instagram to get the daily flavors). We make a 20-30 minute trip just to get them. Today we had Reuben , Cajun shrimp, rancher (chicken cutlet with bacon , cheddar and ranch ), jalapeño popper . For dessert, Oreo mini empanadas, which were like cream cheese frosting with chocolate and the right amount of sweet. Don’t expect fancy, just really really good and fresh empanadas. The owners said they never freeze them, so each day they are open in their food truck they are made that day .. and they taste it (specifically my husband states “they’re so good they wreck empanadas from anywhere else.”) NOTE: they are open in this location Wednesday through Saturday 11am-7pm

Excellent spot! Great specials, friendly staff, and delicious and inexpensive food. My tastes are pretty traditional and I prefer the beef and chicken but the others look great too.

I tried their empanadas at a business event where they were one of the vendors, and they were absolutely incredible. The variety they offered was impressive, and every flavor I tried was packed with taste and perfectly cooked.
