Fernando and Jaime, the current managers and owners, have undertaken the task of baking various Latin American goods from scratch to make them available in Ossining. El Imperio represents a commendable effort to offer a diverse array of baked goods through a predominantly Ecuadorian lens, aiming to cater to our wonderfully diverse community. Excited to sample their various dishes and freshly baked goods, I found myself thoroughly impressed. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone in Ossining to visit this place with an open mind. After trying ten different baked items, I've come to the conclusion that the 'pastel de coco' (Coconut Pastry) stands out as the best item to indulge in.

Wall to wall pastries, more specifically, breads! Each piece is extra large. Fresh taste. And this place is open early n closes late everyday. Truly appreciate your dedication.

I was looking for a birthday cake, but didn’t want to go the usual route of Carvel or Shop Rite cakes. So I gave this place a call. I wanted a Tres Leches cake but it only came in a serving size of 10-12… way too big for my needs. The lady that answered was very helpful in explaining this to me and also told me that they had a strawberry cake that had a Tres Leches layer in it. I told them that I would pick it up within the hour and it was still there when I arrived. The lady I spoke with was very helpful and packaged it nicely for me. The cake was moist and tasty… the strawberry glaze was a bit much for my liking and a bit too sweet, but overall it was a great cake. Just had the worst flan on my life. It may have been a couple of days old, tasted stale and texture was rubbery. It was awful. It’s a shame because I’ve come here before for coffee and it was good. Will not be returning.

Amazing little place! The man that helped us was extremely nice. We are from GA so we assumed it would be pricy, but this place is very inexpensive. And the food is fantastic! My wife got a jelly donut, some bread, and a chocolate covered cheesecake. She said it was great! They need to charge more for what they have, IMO. The food is worth far more than what they charge, especially because the portions are big. So good!
