Customer Reviews
Walked in at about 6pm on a Friday night. The bar was full and there was about a 20 minute wait. I normally dont go out to eat on Fridays but here we are. The food was absolutely amazing. I dont normally order catfish but since it is a staple in Louisiana, I figured why not. My wife got the reddish. They were so good, I normally dont eat everything on my plate. I try not to over eat but it was so good I definitely over ate. Hahaha. It is definitely worth a visit, i cant wait to go back and try a few more things. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the drinks from the bar took about 12 - 15 minutes each time we ordered one. It wasn't the server, it was definitely the bartender working the service bar. I dont know if this is a norm or if the bartenders were just that busy. The ser
Overall nice place. Not a fan of the layout. It’s functional but felt cramped. The jumbo was the star, 2nd best I’ve ever had. I was really hoping the polenta bacon wrapped shrimp were going to be delicious but it literally tasted like bacon wrapped shrimp on overcooked polenta. Not a lot of depth to it. The bacon burger was apparently amazing. I’d have tried it but son devoured it. PoBoy was boring. No real sauce or remoulade, Very dry. Correct bread, but overall not that good. Onion Rings however were hand breaded and amazing. Service was great. I’d try it again but would order something different.
Finally, Durbin has another great sports bar! I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming -- you can tell the staff genuinely care about their guests. The hostesses were so cheerful, opening the doors when we arrived and giving warm greetings. We even had one of them (Harper) go above and beyond to ask a couple of guests at the bar if they wouldn’t mind moving down a seat so that our party could all sit together. Our bartenders (Chloe & Zach) were friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and had great recommendations and poured some great drinks. We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp which came out hot and were similar to a buffalo shrimp but slightly sweeter. For the main course, I had the Mango Tuna Bowl and i
Great atmosphere! What you first notice about this place is that the menu is not your ordinary sports bar food menu. The food is a bit stepped up in a very good way. The Louisiana Kick wings are a must try. Treat yourself to an adult grilled cheese sandwich and make yourself happy again😁. Friendly customer service and the staff is very attentive without being overly attentive. There is bar seating with plenty of flat screens to watch your favorite team along with plenty of cold beer. Parking is not a problem. There is plenty of it. Overall, this place is definitely on the list to recommend to friends and family.
Good news for the people in Julington Creek! There’s no longer a wait at Island Wing Club — and the reason is Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux. * 38 ultra hi def TVs. None faded and extremely clear. * 48 Taps (24 draft offerings) plenty of cocktail options This new sports bar has amazing food with a touch of New Orleans flavor. For being open only six days, I was impressed. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, everything ran smoothly. There are restaurants that have been open for years and still don’t operate this well. You can tell their team received proper training and has solid systems in place. The prices were extremely affordable. My wife had the lemon chicken over grits, and I went with the jalapeño burger — both were excellent. I do feel for the locally owned restauran
