Wake and Bake Bakery Kinston, NC

Quality cakes with great service. We stopped by on our way from Raleigh and saw the great reviews. Yes! The chocolate peanut butter cake was awesome but the lemon layer cake was the best. Oh my. Our hosts loved the surprise and are planning to stop by on their to Raleigh on their next trip. Highly recommended. We will return.

The young lady was very helpful in helping me purchase my yummy treats! The cake slices are so very moist and an ample size! Cookies are soft baked and delicious!

I will never go back to this so called bakery… I ordered a tiramisu cake. It’s obvious this bakery does not know how to make Italian pastries….. I could have done better myself, if I had time to make one. By the look of the pasteries in the display case, the macaroons came out of a box… so very disappointing….. I come from Massachusetts, 20 minutes north of Boston…..I’ve never seen a so called bakery like this in my life.

My sister ordered 12 strawberry and vanilla cupcakes with cream on top for my birthday. The cream was delicious but the cupcakes were okay. This is my first time here and hopefully, the next thing that's purchased is better. I saw the reviews for the cookies, maybe I will try that.

Fantastic bakery they have awesome fresh made treats from brownies, cookies and cakes. Give this bakery a try you won't be disappointed!!!
