Waipouli Deli & Restaurant

I found this local place on Google and boy am I glad I did. Auntie at the counter helped me pick the steak and noodle bowl. Delish! And it’s a steal at $10, considering the typical prices on Kauai. Highly recommend this little unassuming strip-mall treasure!

We were looking for the last authentic Hawaiian as a goodbye just before our flight and we found it! This is a mom-and-pop restaurant where even the children help with operations (I love to see it). I noticed it was full of locals and they all knew the names of the people operating the business. The menu has many local favorites, but we chose the corned beef hash loco mock and the chicken katsu; both came with white rice and over easy eggs. The katsu chicken was delicious, but the corned beef hash loco moco was out of his world, I cannot recommend this dish enough.

This was a great place for us Hawai'i locals to have breakfast. We are from O'ahu and stopped here for breakfast, before starting our day. The atmosphere is so inviting, layed back, and good menu to choose from. The coffee is good, our breakfast had good portions and the food was so onolicious.

Delicious is an understatement! The service is friendly and seeing locals as regulars is always a sign that the food will be amazing. Thank you so much! We came here twice while visiting and will stop by first thing on our next trip!

Fantastic home style food! We had a variety of things from the macadamia nuts pancakes that were very good, to bacon and eggs and all the normal stuff. However, the true show stopper is the corned beef hash with the brown gravy! Thise things are crazy good and I wish I could eat them every day! Everyone has to try an order of them!
