Wailea Oceanfront Boardwalk Trail

Such a nice pathway (with a public restroom too). You pass by various different beach/sand choices to sit and also, hotels/resorts, homes and potential spots to grab a drink/food. You can stay on the boardwalk or veer off onto the beach or tide pools. We did five miles (RT). An enjoyable, late afternoon walk. We saw a turtle feasting in the water, many family photos being taken, the start of a luau (timed around sunset), people-watching and even a whale’s tail far out in the ocean, right around sunset! A really nice, easy pathway. Can’t beat the view.

Easy trail and very scenic islands mountains and near by blowholes. Sunset was also very beautiful. Highly recommended when staying in south maui.

Lovely walking path along the ocean. Easy walking, paved the whole length. Only drawback is, it's narrow. Only room for two, so when you meet folks coming toward you it has to be single file. No bikes.

Fantastic Views, reasonably easy walk of about 3 miles or 6 miles back and forth. Fairly narrow and well traveled path that runs oceanfront past some of the best resorts in Wailea. Wear a suit and carry a towel, water and a pair of flip flops to enjoy a quick swim in several of the beautiful beaches that run along the path. Sneakers are a must if you do the entire path back and forth as we did....bring a beach bag and take a swim break along the way. Also....much sunshine along the way....recommend early morning start as it gets quite hot on a bright day. Enjoy!!

Parking lot at Polo is known for car break-ins. Be sure to lock up and hide your valuables. Walking trail is excellent.
