Aloha Aku Inn & Suites

We love Unit D-115. This homey condo with its comfortable couch, chair and bed suits us perfectly after a beach day. The bedding is soft and the coverlet/bedspread just the right weight for a great nights sleep. We do lots of cooking so we appreciate the good knives and plethora of kitchen utensils and appliances. We had an issue opening our safe and they responded immediately! We like taking the well-maintained beach cruiser bikes (thank you, Jose) to explore the area. And the double kayak took us to turtles swimming offshore. The large pool is what attracted us to this condo in the first place, but it’s all the rest, including the beautiful grounds, that keep us coming back.

Aloha Aku Inn Suites was truly the perfect Maui stay. The best part for us was everything that came with the accommodation and how at home it made us feel from the moment we arrived. We received welcome gifts, which was such a thoughtful touch, and the whole place genuinely felt family run in the best way. It’s right on the beach in Kihei, and we were lucky enough to see turtles during our stay. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful. The suite had all the necessities and felt thoughtfully set up for a comfortable visit. We especially appreciated all the included extras and supplies, including kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, and other beach gear. This was an amazing vacation spot! It’s a perfect location for enjoying a less crowded beach with lots of sea turtles and great sunset views. There is also a wetland habitat next door so you can see lots of native trees, birds, and fish without leaving the property. It’s also very well provisioned for cooking, activities, and water sports. The neighboring area includes several coffee shops, food trucks, restaurants, and grocery stores, all within walking distance. This was the perfect low key beachfront stay for us!

We absolutely loved our stay in Aloha Aku's D227 rental unit. When we walked in, we were immediately impressed by the beautiful condo, beautiful wall art and all the added details (like a beach towels, chairs and am umbrellas, as well as a fully stocked kitchen). The view can't be beat. It's right on the water with a gorgeous view of the surrounding islands. Although we didn't end up cooking, we bought local fruit and banana break and enjoyed eating it on the balcony each morning. The bed was very comfortable and the TV easy to use. Lastly, the beach was almost private.... only one other couple on the beach when we walked down (just a few steps from our condo). Soft sand and shade trees made it the perfect spot to relax. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! We stayed at Aloha Aku during our island-hopping trip in Hawaii, and it was simply amazing. First and foremost: location, location, location. Right in front of a gorgeous beach with breathtaking sunsets every evening, easy parking, and markets and restaurants within walking distance. While having a car in Hawaii is highly recommended, being able to reach shops and dining options in just 10 minutes on foot was a huge plus. The apartments themselves were perfect—ocean-facing and equipped with everything we needed: air conditioning, fans, fridge, kitchen, coffee, even beach shoes, snorkeling gear, and bicycles.
