I was so disappointed in my experience here I had such high hopes because the way everyone was raving about this place on Facebook and I'm always in search of good Asian food unfortunately, the reality is people around here Do not know what good Asian cuisine is. I got a combination plate boneless spare ribs that were dry like jerky fried rice that had no flavor other than the onions and beansprouts. I got a side of chicken teriyaki that was so dry as well It was like jerky and they knew it because they dumped a whole mess of teriyaki sauce in the bag with it that spilt everywhere and made a big mess. If you look at the pictures I have included one of them you can't even tell if it's the stick or the teriyaki chicken. That's how dry it was. It was barely edible .The only thing that was som
Old school New England Chinese food. The restaurant is on the narrow main st in Fairhaven. There's parking in the front and side. Interior was clean , and older Asian decor gave it a cozy feeling. The waitress was friendly and was great at her job. The menu has all of your favorites with plenty of luncheon specials and combination plates. Bonus, you get tea with your meal. The shrimp with lobster sauce was exceptional with complex flavors with a hint of garlic and maybe molasses. The Hot and Sour Soup was sweet but had a flavor I was drawn to. The Egg Roll wasn't bad but lacked flavor. Overall, it was a nice old school Chinese food experience. I would definitely recommend it.
Food is really good! However, they do not give you enough rice. I've never had an issue with a Chinese restaurant not giving a decent portion of rice. The rice runs out before the appetizers if you get a combination plate. I love the food but will go to my other favorite place in the future.
Ok 4 of us came for dinner , tables are tiny !!! Seats old uncomfortable. Rice was disgusting , they do not have Chinese restaurant typical drinks, wine we received was sour and turned , overall food was rather disgusting the wonton soup was ok and beef teriyaki was ok. Would we return no , to go boxes don’t close either , for a place that claims to have been around since 1961 it’s absolutely shocking they haven’t figured it out yet in almost 70 years it seems it’s only customer base are those that come out of convenience because it fills a hunger void out of necessity
By far the best Chinese food in and around Fairhaven and New Bedford. The egg rolls are to die for but all food is good and fresh. Friendly staff as well
