The Wagon Wheel restaurant has been in downtown Wappingers Falls for a very long time. This landmark is a classic no frills restaurant that gets straight to the point. The owner Pete makes really good pizza. Simple, not gourmet pizza, the way they used to make it and still do 40 years later. The crust is crispy, not soggy like the other place that's across the street. His pizza sauce has just the right amount of herbs, sweetness and tang. He is not shy with the toppings either. What a find! Our group was in town for a cross country meet and after reading the great reviews we decided to give Wagon Wheel a try. First, the owner (Pete) is extremely kind, professional and went above and beyond for us. When I went in to place the order it was so nice to learn it was a multi generation business and his father handmade all of the tables and booths. We ordered 10 pizzas and probably should have ordered 20 since it was some of the best we have ever had. Thank You! We look forward to coming back the next time we are in town.

This was our first time at Wagon Wheel, but it was definitely the best pizza in the region! Crust was perfect, sauce was homemade and not too spicy, high-quality ingredients and all for a great price. Pete offered great, personal service and the restaurant is family friendly.
