Waffle House

Hard to go wrong with breakfast at a Waffle House! Fast service and good food at a fair price. I had a fresh hot cup of coffee within a minute of sitting down and my order in about 3 to 4 minutes! Really good bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with two slices of cheese and enough bacon to have some in every bight. Don’t think there is such a thing as not enough bacon. I was given a big fresh cup of coffee to go and my total bill was $10! Stop in to the Maddison Florida Waffle House right off of I-10 for a nice breakfast! Got to love a Southern Tradition that stays open in Cat 5 hurricane bc the Florida Man needs to eat! Oh, clean restrooms here too! Florida Man Approved!

Stopped by with my boyfriend and 5 month old daughter taking a break from our Tampa to Houston roadtrip in the evening. The staff there were so amazing and kind! We spent the day packing a U-Haul and hadn’t hardly eaten all day. They intertained our daughter so we could eat and provided the best service!

Went for lunch today and my family ate there. I wasn’t feeling well, so I got a meal to go. We don’t have a Waffle House at home, so I was really looking forward to eating when I was feeling better. Really, I should have checked the meal. But like I said, I wasn’t feeling well. Discovered that the bacon wasn’t in the bag, the eggs were over cooked, and the grits tasted off. Super super disappointed. :(

I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich on white bread toast and a bowl of grits with a glass of water. The bacon was not cooked, the bread was soaked in butter? oil? and my one egg was okay. The young lady was doing her best(forgot our silverware) as we were a group of three. The high bill was a surprise but it was explained we ordered... individual items...or something like that? Anyway, I paid for my meal and included a tip for the young lady who was doing the best she could. It wasn't crowded.

Tori was amazing. Every establishment needs a Tori. Kind, sweet, attentive she made the experience.
