Cucinella's Brick Oven Pizzeria

We stopped in for pizza after being on the road for 3 hours. Small town pizzeria beside a laundromat. Pizza was really good. Crust was crispy and the toppings were on point! Definitely a good place to stop for pizza if you're in the area!

Cucinellas in Madison, FL is the real deal. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a true Italian kitchen where quality and hospitality still matter. The food is outstanding. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked pasta, rich sauces, and pizza that’s exactly how it should be, crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. You can tell everything is made with care, not rushed. The service is just as impressive. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They treat you like family, not just another table. In a small town, that kind of consistency and pride stands out. Madison is lucky to have a place like Cucinellas. If you want authentic Italian food without driving to a big city, this is it. We’ll absolutely be back.

When traveling I look for restaurants that offer real food, that is, homemade on site. I love Italian places offering pizza 7 subs. I found this restaurant via Google and was intrigued by the mention of chicken salad, another dish that I love when prepared well. What kind of a pizzeria advertises chicken salad? The answer is a pizzeria that makes phenomenal chicken salad. I admit to being picky, but their chicken salad was excellent. One very minor quibble: Warming the tortilla before wrapping would have made the sandwich an A+, but I would come back in a heartbeat if I have the change. Thank you!

We were very skeptical of these reviews. How is this little town going to have an amazing pizza place? Well the reviews were 100% spot on. We both had stromboli and it was incredible. If we lived nearby, we'd be there once a week. As a former NJ/NY resident, I can say that this is on par with some of the best up north. Wish this was near us in the Tampa area.
