Waffle House

We were in town for a funeral and my brother-in-law hadn't eaten Waffle House in over 20 years, so of course we had to go for breakfast on the way to the airport. And low and behold Warren aka WB aka Mr. TWO MILLION DOLLAR CHEF was on the grill! I haven't been home in years and when I walked in and seen WB, I KNEW our food was about to be a banger, and we were not disappointed at all! Thank you for making our day!

As a rule, the Waffle House is always good for Breakfast, at least for me. Great COFFEE. The silverware is always CLEAN as has been the restroom which speaks to the quality of the management. To be fair, if they are busy and something is wrong, just let then know so they can correct it. The food has always been good and it was good here too. The staff is always nice and attentive. The service always seems to be prompt too. Highly recommend.

As always, you can't really go wrong with waffle house. The menu is straightforward and the setting perfectly acceptable. The food came out quick and was very well prepared. Our server, Angela, was very friendly and helpful. She was always paying attention to the status of our coffees and made our stay very welcoming. The price/value proposition is, of course, almost unbeatable. I'd stop again, if I'm ever around.

The cooks are excellent and the food is great! Stephonia is a terrible server and treats people like they showed up to her house unannounced. Not only does she get the order incorrect but if you add anything to the order she rolls her eyes and treats you like it's a complete inconvenience to do her job. She completely forgot our drinks and then when we asked for a water she yelled at us that we didn't order a water. What kind of server treats customers this way? This is unacceptable and completely disrespectful. Stephonia should not be a server or deal with people at all.

Jesse, the cook, was amazing. The waitress, Angel, is actively cussing and fighting. She even ran out the good waitress and other customers. But Jesse set our table, got us served amazing food he cooked, and made sure we were ok despite the waitress. Lol He deserves a huge raise. Huge. He kept his calm and served everyone tonight. Please thank him.
