Von's Chicken Kahului

We stumbled upon Von’s Chicken in Kahului by chance, and it turned out to be one of the best finds of our trip. The fried chicken was outstanding—perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the whole place was spotless, with a large, well-organized kitchen that gave us confidence in the food’s quality. Tucked away in an almost industrial area, this spot is truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing chicken and a warm, welcoming experience!

The chicken was incredibly juicy on the inside with a perfectly crispy exterior — and what shocked me is that it even stayed crispy when we reheated it in the microwave the next morning. There are several flavor options to choose from, but we tried the honey butter based on a local recommendation. It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory and definitely worth ordering. The chicken was super juicy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside — and the best part is it stayed crispy and flavorful even when we reheated it in the microwave the next morning. That alone says a lot! They offer multiple flavor options, but we went with the honey butter as a local recommendation, and it did not disappoint. Sweet, savory, and addicting. The price was also really good for how much food you get. If you’re craving something comforting, crispy, and full of flavor, this spot is 100% worth a stop. 🍗🔥🌺

Very small place, make plans to eat your food somewhere. They have no seating. Which is fine! The food was great! Kids wanted to try Korean corn dogs. We got the all cheese ones and they were pretty good! Their chicken wings and chickens strips were great! Ordering at the kiosk was confusing but the gal working took our order at the counter to make things more efficient

Food: Crispy Fried Chicken - 3/5 - Standard fare. Not bad but I think Minut Stop is better in my opinion. Honey Butter Wings - 3/5 - A bit sweet even for me but then again it is honey. Service: 4/5 - Friendly service. Ambiance: 4/5 - Good store front but it's grab and go.
