Von Rothenburg Bier Stube

We decided at the last minute to go out for dinner on a Saturday night, which as you can imagine can be tricky. We tried a couple of other places, but they had very long waits, including Relish. We couldn’t get in, but we saw a couple of people go next door to Von Rothenburg, so we decided to tag along, hoping that there might be something there. So glad that we did. Both Relish and Von Rothenburg are owned by the Angel’s Share Hospitality Group. It’s a German-style pub with very distinctive German-style architecture. When you walk in, there is a large bar. Most of the bar stools were filled. There is a dining room adjacent to the bar and another one upstairs. Most of the tables have plain wooden tops, a good fit for the pub atmosphere. What a special place. Many thanks to Shannon and the team for making our night special. Loved the Bavarian pretzel, chicken schnitzel, beer batter cod, German beer. However not only was the food Deeee÷licious but the staff made us out of towners feel at home. Loved the playing of german music in the background as well. We will definately travel to visit again.

Had a great platter of sausages to share, chewy soft pretzel, and great beer. Service was attentive and friendly.

Best fish fry in town. Amazing smash burgers. Don't sleep in the chicken schnitzel sandwich either. Pair one of those with a liter of any of their delicious beers and you'll have a meal to remember. Some days are more staffed than others so order your drinks at the bar. Bring the whole family.

I had the 3 piece breaded Fish Fry. It was very good., flaky and perfectly cooked. The fries are chunky, crispy on the outside and fleshy inside. The meal came with a side of coleslaw. The atmosphere inside the bar was great but the acoustics made it difficult to hear others. I would recommend this place, it is small so get there early.
