Vitta's Mexican Bar & Grill

Vita’s Mexican Bar & Grill has a beautifully remodeled space that feels warm, inviting, and modern. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight and makes it a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. The chips were good and fresh, but the salsa could use more flavor and definitely more cilantro to give it that bright, authentic taste. Unfortunately, the scallops were fishy and seemed low quality, which was disappointing. Overall, the place has great potential with its updated look and comfortable vibe, but the food still needs some work to match the atmosphere. Adding soup options to the menu would also be a nice touch.

Tried the brunch buffet today and it was outstanding. We asked for a little of each dish just to taste them and they were all delicious. Everything was perfectly spiced, the meats were tender and juicy, sauces delicately flavored. The service and atmosphere is great here, too! This was our second visit and both times we really enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend Vitta’s!!!

First time at this spot and EVERYTHING was incredible. Atmosphere to the service and on top of it, some of the best Mexican food and drink I have had in Minnesota. Talking with Sophia and Oscar (owners) I understand why the experience was so great.. both are incredible humans. I can’t wait to get back there soon!

New Mexican restaurant in Big Lake. Warm festive atmosphere. Excellent service. Outstanding and flavorful food. Talked quite extensively with Sophia, one of the owners, very personable individual. I am very happy with the whole experience. There are many new plans on the horizon for this establishment. We'll be going back for more!

Delicious food and great quantities. The chips and salsa were really good and they kept bringing more. My wife and I tried the Cadillac Fajitas and they were amazing. My son got grilled chicken tacos and he loved them. We also got a large margarita and it was huge and tasted great. Our server was really nice and attentive. We will definitely go back here.
